Eco Friendly Solutions (EFS), who offer business and home decontamination and sanitisation, have applied chemicals free of charge to A1 Care Home's offices, and their workers' vehicles.

They also provided a service to the owner of A1's house and vehicle, as well as her daughter's house and car.

Numerous elderly residents, who were worried about Covid-19, have also had EFS's chemicals applied for free in their homes and cars.

Curtis Alexander, the managing director of EFS, said: "Our chemicals are persistent solutions that means they continue to kill pathogens when they have dried, Unlike alternative chemicals that are only effective whilst they are wet.

"Our Chemicals can be used on any surface including food contact surfaces and do not require wiping which has massive cost saving implications in terms of time associated with decontamination and amount of chemical required.

"We have applied our chemicals free of charge to a single parent's home. She has two children that suffer with life threatening illness that makes them susceptible to respiratory problems associated with Coronavirus.

"We also offered our services to Conquest Hospital to decontaminate hospital workers vehicles and ambulances and I personally spoke with Mike Stone who thanked me for the kind gesture unfortunately we have never heard back from the Conquest.

"Incidentally Our Chemicals are being used at London's Excel Nightingale Centre."
