Voting took place in two parish councils in the area. The results were:
Barnham Parish Council (eight seats):
Elected: Janet Dalgleish 214 votes, Sue Braid 191, David Phillips 191, Sally Camps 185, Terence Bedford 180, Mike Young 180, Julie Wilson-Homewood 166, John Garner 141.
Not elected: Scott Pharo 120.
Turnout: 31.43%.
Walberton Parish Council
Walberton and Binsted ward
(seven seats):
Elected: Robert Baly 382 votes, Peter Bryan 318, Susan Sargeant 295, Sylvia Burke 254, Sharon May 250, Bill Treves 208, Michael Roddham 193.
Not elected: Rick Smelt 178, Andrew Siragher 146. Turnout: 44.58%
