Please support us

I am calling for local people to volunteer for Marie Curie Cancer Care's Great Daffodil Appeal this month and help make it a success.

The appeal is Marie Curie’s biggest fundraising campaign which takes place each March. Volunteer collectors are out on the streets throughout the month asking people to wear a daffodil, in return for a donation, and support Marie Curie Nurses.

Marie Curie Nurses, like me, provide free care for terminally-ill people in their own homes.

I see first hand what it means for patients to have the choice of where to spend their final days, surrounded by family and friends, which is why the Great Daffodil Appeal is so important.

Donating your time to the appeal will help Marie Curie Nurses to provide more free care to people. We’ve got a role for everyone so, whether you’ve got a couple of hours or a couple of days a week to spare, please get in touch.

Join your local team of volunteer collectors by calling Marie Curie Cancer Care now on 01273 491981 or visit www.mariecurie.org.uk/daffodil

Thanks for your support,

Sarah Richardson
