PARKING: Common sense, please

I MOVED into Worthing town centre to aviod commuting into traffic-locked Worthing each day, except now I have started to drive again and use my free parking at work, because of over-zealous parking wardens.

I would rather drive than get over 100 worth of fines a month.

I have to use a voucher as there is a six-month waiting time for zone A and if you are not exact with the ticket you're in trouble.

Last week, I got two tickets because the voucher had slipped off the dashboard, and wasn't displaying the year 2008, even though the date was correct.

A month prior, I got a ticket whilst dropping off my girlfriend who had just two hours before been in for an operation for cancer.

I have had tickets for off- loading shopping whilst the boot was still open and I was still putting frozen food in the fridge.

It seems that every aspect of your life is ticketed if you are a zone A resident.

All the wardens need is a bit of common sense and discretion.
