Support the cinema
WITH the De La Warr Pavilion's showings of classic films and Bexhill Cinema's Tuesday and Wednesday programme at St John's Church, Bexhill film buffs have a great opportunity - local, matinees, reasonable prices - for entertainment.
I have seen four excellent films at the De La Warr and at the church cinema, Metropolis, in a newly restored and expanded version: a truly wonderful film from 1927.
And what does Bexhill do with this chance? At each of these showings there have been only six or seven in the audience. Wake up, Bexhill, regenerate your minds, let alone the seafront - support these enterprises.
