In Meadowside lots of preparations are underway, clean up sessions are ongoing and a perennial wildflower drift has been planted around the edge of the meadow.

The children in the area have also sowed poppy seeds in commemoration of 100 years since the start of World War I at the edge of the play area.

Join us on Sunday June 15 to see the full entry for yourself as we host a walk along the length of Riverside Walk finishing with a BBQ on the meadow.

The route is just over a mile long, it is accessible and people of all ages are welcomed. We will be meeting at the play area on Dean Way (RH20 4QN) on the Hormare Estate at 2pm.

Riverside Walk is entered in the large conservation area category. The walk follows the chalk stream which hosts brown trout and water voles. Our entry runs from Fryern Dell along the River Stor, past the Mill Pond to the meadow in Meadowside. Judging takes place on Friday July 11.
