Stop before we lose our birds

I live overlooking Egerton Park and have always enjoyed the view.

I am concerned that too much of the hedgerows and bushes are being removed at an alarming rate.

This is not only in Egerton Park but also around Bexhill.

Our bird population have had to deal with huge upheaval due to the regeneration of the seafront and the play park.

This morning I witnessed yet more of the bushes being removed from Egerton Park, adjacent to Park Road.

To me it is looking barren and depressing.

Now the sparrows, blackbirds, robins and blue tits have been evicted again.

The last bit of hedgerow is now by the bowls green.

This has to be stopped before we lose our bird population.
