Singers are stars

THROUGH your newspaper I should like to say a huge thank-you to the Edwin James Festival Choir who held a concert entitled Kiss in aid of my mayor’s charity, Breakthrough Breast Cancer.

It was absolutely superb; the singing was excellent and the evening was made all the more memorable by Chris Allen’s costume changes, which went from a long pink off the shoulder satin dress to a yellow tutu, an array of coloured wigs and various other little numbers inbetween.

The evening was pure fun and entertainment for all ages.

The members went to such lengths to decorate the church with pink decorations and balloons and the raffle contained all pink prizes. I am delighted to report that the evening raised £700 for my charity and I can’t thank Chris, James, and the choir enough for all their hard work and efforts in arranging this concert. You are true stars.

Thank you once again for your support and the wonderful donation.

Joyce Bowyer,

Littlehampton town mayor
