MP’s view on Bexhill parking

Living yards from our lovely promenade and adjacent to Egerton Park and Egerton Bowls Club, parking has always been a problem, but at least there was free parking on the prom.

The problem now there are meters people are obviously not willing to pay consequently the prom ( our section) is completely empty and the nearby residential roads are inundated with parked cars often parked quite irresponsibly.

I sent Mr Merriman photos of the parked cars in the residential road and a photo of the completely empty prom.

Bexhill needs visitors and I love to see them all enjoying our lovely prom and I must say I don’t have a solution as parking space is at a premium here in Bexhill.
