LETTER: Consider future if NHS is destroyed
Our NHS is in a very poor state at the moment and this is mainly due to the fact that the Conservatives have always hated the introduction of this great organisation.
This was made clear by the statement by Mrs Thatcher that she intended to rid Britain of all trace of Socialism. Even she did not dare to get rid of it, but this breed of Tories have decided to destroy it bit by bit until it is so bad that the public will be glad to see it go.
What people forget is that if the NHS does go, the only way that they can be treated is if they have health insurance like the USA, so unless the public wake up this is the situation that will face them.
It will be alright for the well-off members of our society, but the rest will really suffer.
