Good on Greens food delivery service went the extra mile for me in Hastings

We have had several home deliveries from Good on Greens, a local green grocers at 466 Old London Road, Hastings. Lovely fruit and veg, including eggs.

I have never been to their shop, but wondered if they sold any groceries as well.

So this week on my email order, I added at the bottom, a list of a dozen or more extra items and said, ‘just supposing you sell any of these items I would happily buy them too,’ dried apricots, milk, nuts, tinned tomatoes, yogurt, porridge oats, bread, etc.

When the lady phoned to tell us the delivery was on its way, she said, no they didn’t sell any of the extra items, but that they’d been to the Ore Co-op and bought them ALL for us and would be sending them with my veg order. Wow! How kind is that.
