Fun and joy of Eastbourne’s Big Wheel

In response to T Bellamy’s letter in last week’s Herald Eastbourne’s Big Wheel is out of place, what a shame you cannot leave aside words like incongruous and ridiculous regarding the big wheel on the Western lawns, and think about the fun and joy this will bring to the many who experience a thrilling ride.

After being locked down for three months, and the absence of Airbourne,I’m sure many will appreciate this facility on the seafront.

Furthermore , by the looks of the excited children waiting for their turn as I passed by on Wednesday afternoon, I think it’s a very worthwhile amenity and should be extended to the end of August.
