Delicious paella and other refreshments will be available to buy and, as ever, corporate teams will be racing across Tilgate Lake throughout the day, finishing with a heart-pounding final heat, to raise money for St Catherine’s Hospice. Whatever you enjoy the most on September 7, you can rest assured you’re helping to support your local hospice.

Mark Collins VP - Subsurface Imaging, EAME at CGG, a sponsor of the 2014 Dragon Boat Festival, said: “We couldn’t be more excited to jump into our dragon boat and start racing. It will be a fantastic way to spend a Sunday – working together as a team and helping our local hospice, St Catherine’s. When not racing, we’ll certainly be enjoying the new medieval theme, which will help make it a fun day out for all”

Laura Kelly, Corporate Fundraiser at St Catherine’s Hospice, said: “Our whole purpose at St Catherine’s is to provide vital support to people who are facing a terminal illness and their families.

“To do this, we have to raise £5.5million every year and events like our flagship Dragon Boat Festival make a huge difference by helping us to reach that all-important total. I’d like to thank all of our sponsors, our corporate teams, and everyone who joins us on the day; it’s going to be heaps of fun and a great way to raise money for St Catherine’s.”
