Cranleigh Lions Carnival & Fun Day a roaring success for Leaders

Leaders were delighted to be involved in the Cranleigh Lions Carnival & Fun Day which took place on Saturday, June 29.

The team had a marquee at the event where they held a fun competition for the children, had a collection for the Cranleigh Lions and gave away lots of free goodies, refreshments and cupcakes to visitors.

Despite having been around for 30 years, Leaders is a relatively new name in Cranleigh, having brought their specialist letting and property management service to the village last year. Already they are well known by landlords and tenants in the area for their expertise and the team were pleased to join in the fun with the whole community at the Carnival.

Branch Manager, Kylie Bishop, was invited to be a float parade judge, along with the Mayor and Chairman of the Cranleigh Lions, whilst the rest of the team mingled with visitors to their marquee.

Commenting on the day, Kylie said: “We all had a fantastic time at the Carnival and it was a pleasure to meet so many people and to be so warmly welcomed by the community.

“It was a particularly great pleasure to be involved in the judging of the floats. With so many wonderful floats it was a difficult decision, however in the end it was unanimous - we were so impressed with the Girl Guides, Brownies and Rainbows who turned themselves into a human ocean complete with waves, fish and jelly fish!

“Thank you to everyone who came along to our marquee and to all those who helped to make the day such a roaring success; we’re looking forward to being involved in many more Carnivals and community events in the years to come.”
