Just A Minute - August 22

JUST recently I have been trying to re-discover the great depth of St Paul, his life and teaching. His image of oneness and unity is undeniable; he has no place for factions or rivalry. He speaks, in his letter to the Church in Corinth, about how as parts of one body we all have a necessary part to play for the sake of the faith.

Heavenly Father, through the church you are with us always. May we always be united to you and through that union also to our neighbour. Together may we, your children, be one in will and affection, as we lift up our hearts to you, our common Father. May we be truly one, as you Father are one with the Son and the Holy Spirit!
