Billeted here and back
RELIVING many happy memories of the time I was billeted in Worthing in the 1940s, I would like any information about a very kind family by the name of Hughes, who lived in a house called Arken Dale in Shirley Drive.
They had two daughters, Betty and Rosemary, and a son who was a very good artist.
Betty married Richard Tapp, who served in the RAF and was posted to the Harrogate area of Yorkshire.
I believe they had a daughter named Brenda.
I am holidaying in Worthing in May and would love to meet any of the family.
