Anguished mum has made the right choice

WHEN my two children reached teenage years, I told them: "If you want the protection of the law, then you have to live within the law."

I also explained that if they broke the law I would hand them in, I would always love and stand by them but would not tolerate criminal behaviour.

Both to my knowledge have never broken the law and are two fine, upstanding citizens, married with children of their own.

If only more parents would take responsibility for their children.

So I say Carol Saldinack made the right decision by handing in her sons, and shame on her relatives and friends if they have turned their backs on her.
