Oily fish cancerbenefit unproved

BREAST cancer charity Breakthrough have responded to claims that fatty acids in fish can reduce the risk of breast cancer.

Sally Greenbrook, from the charity, said: “There’s not enough evidence yet to suggest eating fish will reduce a person’s individual risk.

“We still don’t know all the causes of breast cancer. We are studying over 100,000 women over 40 years.”
