MP steps into row over train horn noise problem

Arundel and South Downs MP Nick Herbert has asked for a meeting with the head of Southern Rail to resolve problems over the use of loud train horns along the Arun Valley line.

Mr Herbert has written to Charles Horton, Southern's Managing Director as he believes residents concerns have not been properly addressed.

Burpham Village Committee, South Stoke and Offham Parish Meeting and Councillor Paul Dendle have already written to Southern, Network Rail and the Rail Safety and Standards Board (RSSB) but do not feel they have received a satisfactory response.
