Motorcyclist killed in four-vehicle smash near Petworth

A FOUR-VEHICLE collision which killed a 58-year-old motorcyclist near Petworth is being investigated by police.

Police are appealing for anyone who saw the collision on the A283 at Northchapel near Petworth on Sunday (September 9).

The collision happened at 2.15pm between a motorcycle and a Lexus, a Vauxhall and a Suzuki.

The rider of the motorbike was pronounced dead at the scene.

None of the other drivers were injured.

Anyone who saw what happened or saw the motorbike before the collision is asked to call police on 101 quoting Op List.
