She shared her home in Ferringham Lane, Ferring, with Mr Taggart and children Daniel (14) and Sophie (11).

Last week the family home, where the couple and their children have lived for about four years, was cordoned off.

Police searched the house and an eyewitness said Mr Taggart's dark-blue car was removed from the driveway on Wednesday morning.

On Thursday, officers were digging up the front garden of the property.
