Masked robbers raid business park

SIX masked men forced staff at a Horsham business park into an office while they stoled computers last week.

Sussex Police said the six robbers got into the Broadlands Business park, Horsham, after accosting a female on Thursday evening.

They then used verbal and physical force to gather late shift workers into a room while they stole computer equipment and loaded it into a van.

Officers said the staff were shaken but unharmed, and appealed for information.

Det Insp Jo Banks said: "This was an ordeal for those involved, but they remained calm and called police as soon as possible. We are doing all we can to identify those responsible.

"It is vital that detectives find out where the men had been in the hours leading up to the robbery. At this early stage, we also need to know the direction in which the van left, after the offence.

"We are keen to talk to any drivers who were on the A24 before 8pm and after 9pm, and who may have noticed a clean white Transit van and its occupants, between Warnham and Rusper roundabouts, or elsewhere in the vicinity."

The six men who were wearing balaclavas and gloves are all thought to be white.
