Lip reading and sign language course on hearing bus

Do you have a hearing loss and sometimes find communication with other people difficult?

You may benefit from learning the basics of lipreading and sign language and if so, help is provided by the East Sussex Hearing Resource Centre with its 10 week course "An Introduction to Lipreading & Sign Language"

The East Sussex Hearing Resource Centre will be providing a unique opportunity for Deaf and Hard of Hearing people in the Hastings and Rother area to improve their communication skills using the East Sussex Hearing Resource Centre Deaf Outreach Service bus, affectionately known as Clive - Community Learning & Information Vehicle.

The courses will take place in Battle, Brede, Netherfield and Sedlescombe, and cost 20 per 10 week course.

Space on the bus is limited to 10 people at each location.

Classes are taught by qualified tutors who are Deaf/partially deaf.
