Lead stolen from shop rooftops in Horsham

THIEVES have stolen lead valued at nearly £1,000 from the roof of Next in West Street, Horsham.

Staff at the high street retailer believe the incident happened some time between Monday and Wednesday this week.

Meanwhile the O2 phone shop, also on West Street, is reported to have fallen victim to the same crime last night (Tuesday September 13).

Anyone with information should contact Sussex Police on 0845 60 70 999 quoting serial number 1100 September 14 for the Next incident and 0405 September 13 regarding the O2 shop.

Police say any suspicious activity on shop rooftops should be reported immediately on 999.
