Large grant will improve Worthing College
The capital funding grant from the Skills Funding Agency will go towards further investment in information technology and wi-fi coverage throughout the Hill Barn Lane campus; the creation of a new conference centre to host student study days, visiting speakers and revision conferences; further investment in furniture to create specialist, integrated learning spaces; the creation of sports changing rooms for all college students and a disabled wet room to provide showering facilities; improvements to toilets and washing facilities; and additional estate works to enhance the external environment.
College principal, Peter Corrigan said: “This is fantastic news for young people, employers and the whole community of Worthing.

Tim Loughton, MP for East Worthing and Shoreham, added: “This is great news for the new Worthing College and the town as a whole. The additional funding will enable the College to offer excellent state of the art facilities for young learners.”
Sir Peter Bottomley, MP for Worthing West, added the town should be grateful to Peter Corrigan, his senior team and college governors.
