Ladies give welcome boost to Bexhill charity
EFFORTS to raise funds for The Bexhill Caring Community by Beaulah Baptist Church Ladies' Group throughout the year paid off handsomely earlier this month when no less than £1,150 was handed over to the 45-year-old registered charity by group president, Phyllis Warburton.
It was received on behalf of BCC by Margaret Von Speyr during the group’s annual Christmas carol service, attended by almost 40 people. Fund raising events have included an auction of promises, summer coffee morning and a bring-and-buy, supported by voluntary donations.
