High winds cause disruption
HIGH winds causes disruption in the Rye area overnight on Monday.
Gusts of up to 76 miles an hour left some homes in Pett Level without electricity for almost a day while a fallen power line caused Starvecrow Lane at Peasmarsh to be blocked for several hours on Tuesday morning.
Sea Road at Winchelsea Beach was also blocked for a few hours due to a fallen tree.
