High Weald Hoard on show

Roman treasure that laid buried in Burwash for over 1700 years is now on show at the Battle Museum of Local History.
The High Weald Hoard loan exhibition at Battle Museum of Local History, until the 31st October 2013 from 10.00 - 16.30 Monday to Saturday except Wednesday 10.00-13.00. Staff at the British Museum conserved and catalogued the hoard which qualified as treasure under the Treasure act. The ‘High Weald Hoard’ loan exhibition is at Battle Museum of Local History until the 31st October from 10am - 4.30pm Monday to Saturday except Wednesday 10am-1pm.
