Harvest gifts for homeless at Nyewood C of E Junior School

Nyewood C of E Junior School celebrated harvest festival with a special assembly.

At the school in Brent Road, Bognor Regis, gifts of food were donated by Lower Key Stage 2 children.

They will go to St Joseph's Hostel in Chichester, part of the Christian Care Organisation, to help feed homeless people.

The Upper Key Stage 2 children chose to donate money to support Amar, the school's sponsored child in India.

Mrs O'Neil from St Joseph's explained the difference the gifts would make to homeless people.The Upper Key Stage 2 pupils gave a powerpoint presentation on how the money would improve Amar's life.
