Hair-raising fundraiser for Row4Charity

Who wouldn't pay good money to see men from all over Bexhill getting their legs waxed for charity?

It's happening on Friday November 14 when Row4Charity on behalf of the Stroke Association holds a hairy fundraiser from 7pm.

It's an event involving landlords or staff members who have volunteered themselves to have a body part waxed by professional beautician Nicola Bates.

To do so the volunteers have to raise a minimum 100 in sponsorship, but the pub or club that raises the most money will host the event.

The victims will be Graham Tombs from the York Hotel, Matt Cowlard from the Bell in Old Town, Ben Britt from the Devonshire Arms, Derek Lee of Traffers, Matt Dargan from the Sovereign, Jamie Hunt of Sidley FC, Pat Murray of Rowing Social Club, Guy Walker of Walkers Wine Bar, Adam Reed of Bar One, and Ben White from Bexhill FC.

Row4Charity also have planned a Q&A session at Bexhill stroke support group on October 24, while two days later on October 26 two of the team of four planning to row across the Indian Ocean will take part in the BUPA Great South Run.
