Give it a go - family fun day

That was the aim of inviting under-5's to a fun day at Egerton Park Children's Centre on Saturday.

The free event was to give young children the chance to try out all sorts of fun activities from squash, football, sailing, rowing, karate and gym to tumble tots, circus skills, street dance and messy play.

There were fruit tasting sessions and the opportunity for mums and dads to find out about a range of more about the farmers' market, local walks and men's health advice from Diabetes UK and Active Rother.

Egerton Children's Centre offers all families with children under five the chance to meet other parents at drop-ins or groups, as well as getting advice, information and support from their local community.
