Gambian support from Charters Ancaster
Pupils at Charters Ancaster raised £76 at a recent Bring and Buy sale at the school.
This amount will be enough to sponsor one year's education for a child at the Don McMath school in the Gambia.
Local resident Anne McMath set up the successful and thriving school in memory of her husband.
Youngsters at Charters Ancaster have been involved in fund raising for the Gambian school building project and for the sponsorship of two pupils there since 2005.
