Four arrests after Bognor Regis charity shop burglary

Four people have been arrested after a burglary at Oxfam in Bognor Regis.

Police were called to the store in London Road after receiving a call reporting men were seen running from the store carrying a safe at around 6.15pm on Sunday, February 26.

Officers quickly traced a car which had been seen at the scene to Churchill Walk.

A 49-year-old man from Bognor was arrested on suspicion of burglary.

Three others - two men aged 51 and 36 and a 27-year-old woman, all from Bognor - were arrested a short time later on suspicion of burglary.

Police would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed anything suspicious in the area at the time of the incident or seen a group of people running from the area and getting into a car.
