DRIVER DIES IN CRASH

The driver of a Lotus car died after a car crash near Ditchling yesterday (June 29).

He was Jamie Bowery, aged 29, of Crown Drive, Bishops Cleeve, Cheltenham, Gloucs.

The accident happened at about 6.45pm on Folders Lane, near the Ditchling Common Industrial Esatate.

The Lotus was in collision with a Ford Fiesta being driven west by a 26-year-old local man.He received serious injuries and was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton, with serious injuries.
