Dramatic seal rescue on beach
BEACHGOERS watched on in amazement as an injured seal was rescued from Worthing seafront on Tuesday afternoon.
The seal had been spotted in shallow water close to the Half Brick pub, in East Worthing.
Billy Elliott, from Worthing and District Animal Rescue Service (WADARS) was joined by beach patrol officers in rushing to the stricken seal's aid.
