Disgust at Goring beach huts

A YOUNG mother is shocked Worthing Council has not cleaned up an expletive scrawled across beach huts.

The woman, who did not wish to be identified, told the Herald: "Monday morning up bright and early, and this is the first thing my children see on the way to school.

"'Oh,look mummy. Look at the beach huts', said my nine year old son.

"I was very sad to see this expletive that is impossible to ignore I came back after dropping the children off at school and phoned the council who assured me they would phone the beach office.

"I phoned the beach office myself and left a message on the machine asking for it to be removed as all the little children will see it."

"It is now 14.45pm and it is still for all to see."

"Do I clean it myself?

"Do I drive a different way round to avoid it?"

The Herald is publishing an image of the beach huts with the word censored out, as it is too obscene to appear in a family publication.

At 3pm the woman spotted three people cleaning up the huts.

"This is the time that all the school children are finishing for the day," she said.

"This response I feel is very poor from the council."
