Police officers are searching for a man in connection with a burglary and two assaults at a KFC restaurant in Worthing.

An item was taken from behind the counter, and two workers were assaulted, at at the restaurant in Chapel Road at about 6.30pm on Sunday, July 10.

In an appeal for information on Friday (September 2), Sussex Police has issued a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak with, in connection with the investigation.

“He is described as a mixed race man, aged in his 30s, and he wore a white hooded tracksuit top with a black and grey stripe, white tracksuit bottoms, and carried a small black shoulder bag,” a police spokesperson said.
