“She has never been out of contact with her family for so long and she has no mobile phone or cash with her.

“A message was sent to her daughter on Facebook on Saturday claiming to be from Pamela which said that she was safe and well and that she would be in touch in a week.

“However we have no way of being certain that it was sent by Pamela herself.

“Pamela, if you read this please get in touch with us so we know you are ok.”
