Cash and electronics stolen after Eastbourne business break-in

A burglar broke into an Eastbourne business and stole cash and electronics at the weekend.

According to police, a male suspect broke in through the window of an address in Lascelles Terrace in the early hours on Saturday (April 25).

Officers said CCTV footage should help identify the suspect.

Sussex Police reported another three burglaries which took place in the town this week.

Officers said garages in Southern Road were broken into overnight on Sunday (April 26) and Monday (April 27), which led to various items, including camping equipment, being taken after intruders cut and forced the storage unit’s padlocks.

According to police, a pub in Rangemore Drive was broken into in the late evening on Monday (April 27) after a male suspect forced open a door.

Police said nothing was stolen and CCTV may assist them in finding the man.

And a property in Collingwood Close was broken into on Monday (April 27) after police said a man got into a communal area and took personal items.

Police said CCTV may be able to help find the man.

Police have urged burglary victims to report it online, or by calling 101 – always dial 999 in an emergency or if a burglary is in action.
