Inspector Gavin Whitehouse, from Arun Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “Anti-social behaviour is a real blight on our community and Operation Phoenix has been successful in helping to tackle anti-social behaviour in Arun.

“When alcohol is seized, it is permanently disposed of, to prevent it from being used by people unlawfully.

“In addition, we also recycle the containers to help the environment.

“If you are concerned about anti-social behaviour in your area contact Sussex Police on 101.”
