Conman steals from 99-year-old

The con-man posed as a Betterware salesman when he turned up at a property at Elmstead Cottages on the afternoon on January 9.

Detective Constable Hollie Freeman said; “The man was invited into the property where he stole £100-£200 and a post office card from the victim’s lounge when she wasn’t looking. He then left. “

The man has been described as white, 5ft 7 inch tall and of chubby build. He had a chubby baby face and short dark hair. He wore a dark beanie flat cap, a dark jumper and boots.
