Ella Mash was delighted: “After leaving college with 3 A levels in art and an AS in life drawing I felt confident to enter the realms of university to study fashion design at Bath Spa. My time and tuition at Collyer’s gave me the drive and ambition to succeed.”

Assistant Principal, Melanie Russell, was thrilled: “Well done to Ella and Lucy, who are hugely talented ex-students. I’m delighted that they plan to join our new alumni site and post some images from their successful fashion show.”

Ella has just been given the exciting news that she was successful at interview with Beyond Creative Ltd and will start work for them in at their London offices in the design department in the coming month.

Ella said: “Following the completion of my 3 year degree and exhibition at London graduate fashion week I am looking forward to starting my career with ‘Beyond Creative Ltd’ in London this coming July. I am so grateful to Collyer’s for all that they have done to support my journey into the working world and will of course return as Alumni.

“In doing so I hope pass on my experiences to future students to continue to help inspire learners and facilitate the passion at Collyer’s for Art and design at A Level.”

Vice Principal, Steve Nicholls was thrilled: “We have an outstanding reputation on the national stage for art and we were thrilled to hear about Ella and Lucy’s success story. Collyer’s and Horsham should be very proud of them indeed.”

Ella and Lucy also kindly exhibited their creations at the college’s Year 10 open evening on Thursday July 7.

Many of the current students were really pleased to see Ella and Lucy’s incredible creations first hand.
