Classy artwork raises cash for school
PROUD parents were able to see their children's art work on display at King Offa Primary School in Down Road last week, when a special exhibition was held on Wednesday afternoon.
There were contributions from across the school’s entire age range - reception class four-year-olds to year six 10-year-olds - and all had been professionally mounted.
With around 300 pupils at the school, there was plenty to see and the exhibition featured a variety of topics, from self-portraits to pictures of animals, landscapes and objects of interest.
At the end of the event, parents were invited to buy their children’s work and as a result more than £200 was raised for school funds.
