SPRING SHOW: The horticultural society Spring Show is at the village hall on Saturday March 19. There are classes for daffodils, narcissi, polyanthus and hyacinths and if you have any of these flowers in your garden why not take them along. The entry fee for each class is just 10p for members, 20p for non-members and children 16 years and under free. You don’t need to worry that your entry will be up against those who have won many times before as there are novice classes for those with no experience or limited experience of showing. For a show schedule, which in addition to the classes for flowers includes details of the vegetable, flower arranging, handicrafts, art, photography, cookery and children’s classes, call Janet Keet-Black on 01273 400699.
