(Captain) Kidd’s stuff at local school
LITTLE treasures in the Foundation Classes at Little Common Primary School dressed up as pirates and mermaids for a special party last week.
The school’s skipper, headteacher Linda Appleby, said: “The children celebrated the end of their water topic by donning striped jerseys, skull-and-crossbones hats and floaty mermaid dresses. They enjoyed a party picnic on the school field, explored a pirate island and played pirate-themed party games.”
