BREAKING NEWS: Three-car collision leaves A259 closed

THE WESTBOUND carriage of the A259 is currently closed, due to a three-car accident this morning (Wednesday, October 15).

It happened at about 11.30am, on the Rustington bypass, when a white Honda Civic, travelling eastbound, spun out of control and crashed into a blue Toyota and a red Ford KA being driven in the other direction.

No one was hurt.

A spokesman for West Sussex Fire and Rescue said the eastbound carriage was closed for about 30 minutes, but that he expected the westbound to be closed for some time.
