BREAKING NEWS: Fire at Littlehampton Morrisons
FIREFIGHTERS are currently fighting a blaze at a convenience store in Littlehampton’s town centre this morning (Friday, June 6).
Two crews from Littlehampton’s fire station have been called to the Morrisons M Local store, in Surrey Street.
Firefighters with breathing apparatuses, hose reels and carbon dioxide extinguishers are fighting a small fire on the ground floor of the building’s warehouse.
It is believed the blaze erupted from a refrigeration unit in the warehouse shortly after 9.40am.
