BLOG action day in Battle
THE basement of Battle Memorial Hall echoed with the sounds of sweeping and hammering on Saturday when Battle Light Opera Group ran a BLOG Blitz Day, clearing and refitting their wardrobe and workshop spaces.
Scenery and sets, designed specifically for the stage at the hall, can now be constructed and painted on site. The costume team are delighted with their refurbished room, and are now looking for volunteers to help create 1920s costumes for the forthcoming show, Thoroughly Modern Millie, in May.
