Artists' bonanza in Bognor Regis

More than 400 paintings will be on show from today in one of the largest art exhibitions in Bognor Regis.

Sponsored by the Observer, the fifth of the annual displays by the town's Rotary Club is taking place at the Gordon Centre in Canada Grove for four days. Opening times are between 11am and 8pm daily until Sunday, August 31. Entry is free.

This year's exhibition promises to uphold the high standards of those in previous years.

The exhibition provides the perfect occasion for artists to demonstrate their talents and for residents to purchase a piece of original artwork.

Rotary Club president Brian Golding said: "This show has become one of the main events in the local calendar. We are grateful for the ongoing support we receive from local, talented artists and the Observer."
