Animal restrictions stop Step back in Time before start

NATIONWIDE restriction on the movement of animals has led to the cancellation of a fun event to raise money for St Michael's Hospice.

Country lovers were no doubt looking forward to the Step Back In Time Working Weekend which was to be held next weekend, October 13/14.

Now regulations put in place by DEFRA to control foot and mouth disease mean the new event cannot take place at Rock Lane in Three Oaks at all this year.

Sue Farndale of St Michael's Hospice said: "Hopefully we can go ahead with the event in 2008.

"We would like to thank all who had expressed interest in this show and were willing to give their support by organising, taking part or attending."
